With 15 years in leadership roles across the corporate and development sectors, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful human-centered writing can be. Today, I help professionals communicate with clarity and impact using their own voice, and I guide organizations in telling their stories clearly and effectively.
I don’t claim to be an expert writer, at least not by traditional standards. I don’t have a degree in communications or journalism – I’m a chemical engineer – but I have been writing for global clients for over two decades now.
Like many professionals, I’ve made the same mistakes I now help others avoid. In my corporate years, I often defaulted to formal business writing that didn’t always land well. I improved when I transitioned to the development sector, where writing had to be more intentional and human-centered. It was when I started my freelance consultancy that I gained a deeper understanding of the value of writing that connects. What I offer now are insights and lessons grounded in real-world experience and the belief that writing works best when it’s thoughtful, clear, and human-centered.
Writing has always been part of my life. As a student, I enjoyed essays and long-form tests. I also wrote and edited for our school paper. Early in my career, I drafted press releases for our Corporate Communications team. And as I moved into more senior roles, writing (and communication in general) continued to be at the core of my work. I’ve authored annual reports, government submissions, leadership statements, donor briefs and fund utilization reports, and more. I’ve also represented my organization by delivering speeches and presentations at local, regional, and international conferences.

Send me 3 to 5 samples of your writing. These could include emails, letters, memos, and short reports (up to 500 words each). I’ll evaluate them in terms of purpose, clarity, and authenticity based on the PCA framework I developed. You’ll receive a report with your PCA rubric scores, feedback, and personalized recommendations to help you sharpen your writing style while staying true to your voice. Designed for corporate and institutional clients, this is ideal for key long-form documents such as proposals, donor reports, government submissions, leadership statements, and business plans (up to 5,000 words).
I’ll assess your document using the PCA framework, with a particular focus on purpose, clarity, and authenticity across its major sections. You’ll receive a review report with section-level scores, annotations, and strategic suggestions to help you better communicate with impact.
